ABOUT the Park:
Largest state park in California, with 500 miles of dirt roads, numerous camping opportunties, 12 wilderness areas and many miles of hiking trails that provide the opportunity to experience desert wonders including bighorn sheep, wildflowers, palm groves, cacti and sweeping vistas.
WEATHER:
Early October in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park brings daytime high temperatures averaging between 88°F and 98°F, and cool nighttime lows dropping to around 55°F to 60°F.
